Beyond The Tools Academy ("we", "us") operates the Trades Business Asset Assessment. We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

• Contact details: name, business name, email, telephone, and (if you choose to provide them) business address fields.
• Your answers to the 21 assessment questions, including optional free-text responses.
• Your consent choices, including marketing preferences and any prize draw entry.
• Technical data such as the date and time you completed the assessment.

• To generate your personalised Business Asset Report and 90-day improvement plan.
• To provide and (where requested) email your downloadable PDF report.
• To analyse and improve the assessment over time, using aggregated, anonymised data.
• To contact you about a Business Asset Review, only where you have indicated you would like one.
• To send marketing communications only where you have given separate, explicit consent.

We process your data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in providing the assessment you have requested. Marketing communications require separate consent, which is never assumed or preselected. You can complete the assessment without consenting to marketing.

Where AI analysis is enabled, your assessment answers (but not your full contact details) may be sent to a trusted AI provider to generate personalised report commentary. We limit the personal data sent to what is necessary. Scores, pillars, findings and your 90-day plan are always produced deterministically and are never altered by AI.

We do not sell your data. If CRM integration is enabled, your assessment results may be sent to our customer relationship management system to help us follow up appropriately — and only where the required permissions are present. We will not trigger marketing campaigns unless you have consented.

We retain assessment data for approximately 730 days unless you ask us to delete it sooner. You can request deletion or anonymisation of your record at any time by contacting us.

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting your assessment.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We use HTTPS, secure storage, expiring report download links and access controls. Report links use an unguessable reference so that one respondent cannot access another's report by changing a URL or ID. Administrative functions are protected by authentication.
